In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing supply chain operations in North and South America, in collaboration with a global network. As a Logistics Specialist, you will coordinate various aspects of the shipping process, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with internal teams, customers, and external partners. Your main tasks will include tracking shipments, working closely with customs agents for international deliveries, and optimizing inventory management across warehouses and manufacturing facilities in the USA, with a focus on prioritizing strategies such as FIFO (First In, First Out).


· Oversee shipping processes, customs clearance, and ensure timely delivery to final destinations.

· Maintain accurate documentation and communicate any deviations in delivery schedules to relevant parties.

· Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders including customers, authorities, and internal teams.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external inquiries regarding logistics operations.

· Provide proactive advice and regular updates on import/export and domestic shipments status and progress.

· Monitor and optimize cost and freight margins, ensuring accurate invoicing to customers.

· Verify the accuracy of received freight invoices and keep transport records updated with freight costs.

· Implement forecasting and tracking tools to ensure effective inventory management, in adherence to FIFO principles.

· Maintain safety stock levels according to the company's fiduciary requirements.


· Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in transportation, logistics, international business, or a related field.

· Demonstrate proficiency in logistics processes, including a good understanding of transportation modes, Incoterms, and necessary documentation.

· Familiarity with FIFO strategies and general inventory management principles will be beneficial in this role.

· Possess knowledge of import/export requirements, including HS codes and customs clearance regulations.

· Understand standard regulations governing domestic and international protocols pertaining to logistics operations.

· Possess experience with ERP systems and demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

· Have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

· Show high attention to detail and accuracy in handling logistics operations and documentation.

· Demonstrate a strong drive and commitment to achieving objectives in the logistics field.

· Display proficiency in both oral and written English; Spanish language skills are considered a plus.
