Hours and Compensation:
Day shift position (6:30am-5pm) with on-call responsibilities every fourth week for evenings and weekends. The position is either 0.75 or 1.0 FTE and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Hourly pay ranges from $33.88 (for recent graduates) to $35.50-$47.75 (depending on experience).
Full benefits package provided, including sign-on/relocation assistance.
What We're Seeking:
Candidates must have a valid certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the relevant specialty (RDCS or RVT designation required).
Proven expertise in conducting various diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including invasive exams like ultrasound-guided biopsies.
Prior experience with stress echo and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) is preferred. Pediatric experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic ultrasound and vascular exams on patients with efficiency and compassion, providing crucial data for diagnosing medical conditions.
Evaluate exams to ensure diagnostic quality, using professional judgment in delivering services.
Additional Information:
The position reports to the Manager of Heart and Vascular Diagnostics, a highly respected leader in our facility. You will work alongside approximately 20 other Sonographers.
Weekend responsibilities may include stress echocardiograms ordered by cardiologists, including urgent "due today" or "stat" orders.
