A healthcare organization in the Finger Lakes region is seeking an Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join a collaborative orthopedic team. This full time role works closely with orthopedic surgeons and clinical staff, providing comprehensive care in both clinic and surgical settings.

Schedule
Full time, on site in the Finger Lakes Region, NY.

Compensation
$115,000 to $135,000 per year, based on experience.

What You'll Do
The Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider evaluates, diagnoses, and manages acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, providing pre and post operative care and assisting with surgical procedures when applicable. This role orders and interprets imaging and laboratory studies, develops individualized treatment plans, and educates patients on recovery and prevention. The provider performs procedures including joint injections, splinting, and casting, and maintains accurate clinical documentation to support high quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current New York state licensure as an NP or PA
• National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA as applicable)
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced clinical and surgical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Orthopedic, fracture care, or musculoskeletal experience
• Experience assisting with surgical procedures
