REHABILITATION SPECIALIST

$100-150K + Bonus + Paid Relocation + $20K Sign-On Bonus

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Rehabilitation Specialist is a knowledgeable professional in the field of movement disorders. They are responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing rehabilitation services, which includes assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, intervention, prognosis, outcomes, and discharge planning. They will also handle consultations, educational activities, critical analysis, administrative tasks, and the supervision of staff. The Rehabilitation Specialist demonstrates ongoing commitment to professional development in order to stay up-to-date on essential areas, align with program goals and the Medical Center's objectives, and maintain the philosophy of the organization.

Required qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree
• Graduate of an accredited rehabilitation program
• Experience in a new graduate or entry-level capacity within an ambulatory care facility or medical group practice
• Proficient in program planning, implementation, evaluation, and education/training
• Hold a valid California Rehabilitation Specialist License upon hire
• Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire

Preferred qualifications:

• Have a Master's Degree or Ph.D.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with CARF and Title XXII standards
• Previous experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

CERTIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an accredited rehabilitation program
• Hold a valid California Rehabilitation Specialist License upon hire
