Job Description
We are seeking a talented and compassionate Physical Rehabilitation Specialist to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering outstanding care and rehabilitation services to patients. Your focus will be on helping them regain mobility, manage pain, and enhance their overall quality of life. By designing personalized and effective therapy programs, you will contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional care.


- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.

- Create customized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.

- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and function according to their individual needs.

- Monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans for optimal outcomes.

- Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

- Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices, and integrate them into clinical practice as appropriate.

- Ensure adherence to the Plan of Care by following up with patients in case of non-compliance.

- Foster a collaborative culture by effectively utilizing non-clinical staff to support the needs of the caseload.

- Properly delegate responsibilities and utilize Physical Therapy Assistants when applicable.

- Actively participate in driving a collaborative culture based on our service vision.

- Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily patterns.

- Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Essential Job Functions:

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine therapy needs and establish treatment goals.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific conditions and functional limitations.

- Provide effective therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote recovery and improve physical well-being.

- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members, offering education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.

- Keep accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.


- Hold a valid state licensure as a Physical Rehabilitation Specialist.

- Have a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

- Possess CPR certification and any other relevant certifications required by state regulations.

- Demonstrate strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred).

- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

- Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.

Physical Requirements:

- Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists.

- Lifting: Capability to lift and carry equipment or assist patients as needed (up to 50 pounds).

- Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions.

- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment.

- Visual and Auditory Skills: Capacity to observe patients and communicate effectively.

- Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules in a dynamic healthcare environment.
