Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our vibrant team. As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our patients, assisting them in regaining their mobility, managing pain, and enhancing their quality of life. Your expertise will greatly contribute to our commitment to offering personalized and effective therapy programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the functional abilities, limitations, and goals of patients.

- Create customized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and methods.

- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, mobility, and overall function, tailored to each patient's specific needs.

- Monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans for optimal outcomes.

- Educate patients and their families on therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

- Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into clinical practice as appropriate.

- Ensure patient compliance with the Plan of Care, following up with non-compliant patients when necessary.

- Work collaboratively with non-clinical staff to meet the needs of the patient caseload.

- Delegate appropriately and utilize Physical Therapy Assistants when applicable.

- Actively contribute to fostering a collaborative culture based on our service vision.

- Ability to adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily routines.

- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Essential Job Functions:

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine therapy needs and establish treatment goals.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific conditions and functional limitations.

- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities effectively to promote recovery and improve patients' physical well-being.

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.

- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.


- Hold a valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

- Possess a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

- Hold CPR certification and any other relevant certifications required by state regulations.

- Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

- Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.

Physical Requirements:

- Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists.

- Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients as needed (up to 50 pounds).

- Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions.

- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment.

- Visual and Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively.

- Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
