The role of the Rehabilitation Specialist involves conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering ongoing treatments for the purpose of enhancing the functional capabilities of patients. These activities are carried out in alignment with overall treatment objectives.

The incumbent will have the responsibility to provide a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions, while working within an interdisciplinary environment. The incumbent should meet the required qualifications and professional standards, while also demonstrating accountability and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary manner.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

• Current California State licensure as a Rehabilitation Specialist
• Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• Graduation from an accredited program in Rehabilitation
• Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including analytical and grammatical proficiency
• Essential organizational and multitasking abilities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in Rehabilitation; graduation from an accredited college or university
• Valid California Rehabilitation Specialist License upon hire
• Basic Life Support certification - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Rehabilitation and possesses a valid California license upon hire
