Job Summary

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine the functional abilities, limitations, and objectives of individuals seeking rehabilitation.

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments, goals, and utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques and modalities.

- Deliver and administer appropriate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to enhance mobility, strength, flexibility, and functionality based on each patient's specific requirements.

- Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

- Educate patients and their families on therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention methods.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

- Stay updated on advancements in rehabilitation techniques, technologies, and best practices and integrate them into clinical practice as appropriate.

- Ensure patient compliance with treatment plans and follow up accordingly.

- Work collaboratively with non-clinical staff to support the needs of the caseload.

- Properly delegate and utilize support staff when applicable.

- Contribute to fostering a collaborative culture based on our service vision.

- Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily patterns as needed.

- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Essential Job Functions:

- Perform comprehensive assessments to determine rehabilitation needs and establish treatment goals.

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address specific conditions and functional limitations.

- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities effectively to promote recovery and improve physical well-being.

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.

- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Valid state licensure as a Rehabilitation Specialist.

- Doctorate or Master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from an accredited program.

- CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.

- Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric rehabilitation (preferred).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

- Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.

Physical Requirements:

- Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists.

- Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients as needed (up to 50 pounds).

- Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions.

- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment.

- Visual and Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively.

- Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
