Sleep Medicine / Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

This growing Critical Access Hospital in rural Eastern Oregon is seeking a Sleep Medicine / Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a close knit clinical team. The role offers the opportunity to build a sleep medicine practice within an AASM accredited facility while working and living in a rural Eastern Oregon community.

Schedule
Full time, permanent, four 10 hour days per week, day shift, no after hours call requirements.

Compensation
Base salary of $145,000 to $150,000 or more per year, plus quality incentives up to $15,000 and a $20,000 commencement bonus.

What You'll Do
This role evaluates and manages patients presenting with a wide range of sleep disorders and reviews sleep studies with physician support in an AASM accredited sleep facility offering both in lab and home sleep monitoring services. The nurse practitioner or physician assistant initiates and manages PAP therapy for appropriate patients, provides patient and family education on sleep hygiene and treatment adherence, and maintains accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records.

Required Qualifications

• Current NP or PA licensure, including active Oregon state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
• Board certification or board eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sleep medicine or neurology
• 1 to 2 years of experience as an NP or PA, with neurology experience a plus
• Comfort with and interest in practicing in a rural community setting
