Reporting to the Technical Applications Manager, this role serves as a key technical authority for gas detection, atmospheric monitoring, automation, and control system applications. The Assistant Technical Applications Manager works with customers and internal teams across the full project lifecycle, from application review and system design through programming, testing, commissioning, training, and ongoing technical support, and also contributes to product development and continuous improvement.

Schedule

Full-time, on-site and field-based, not remote. Travel is required for commissioning, field service, troubleshooting, and customer support, including occasional extended hours during critical commissioning or customer operations.

Compensation

This role pays $100,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience.

What You'll Do

This role leads system design activities including control architecture, automation strategies, communications, instrumentation, and system integration, and includes configuring, programming, troubleshooting, and supporting PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and communication systems.
