A family-owned electrical contracting firm with over four decades of operation in Metro Boston is hiring an Electrical Project Manager. The firm remains independently owned and operated by its founders, and this role works directly with ownership on design-build and fast-track commercial projects. All projects are within driving distance, with no overnight travel required.

Schedule
Full-time. Local projects only, no overnight travel.

Compensation
$125,000 to $140,000 per year, plus car allowance and gas card.

What You'll Do
This project manager oversees commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout, including design-build scopes, working directly alongside general contractors, engineers, and architects starting at the earliest project stages. The role includes leading foremen and field crews with direct supervisory responsibility, tracking job costs against budget, and producing projection reports. This manager coordinates closely with GCs, engineers, architects, and owners throughout each project, and conducts weekly site visits across all active projects. The position was created due to growing project volume, with a senior PM position as the next step as that growth continues.

Required Qualifications

• 4 or more years of electrical project management or foreman experience
• Field and design-build background
• Working knowledge of NEC codes and standards
• Ability to read construction documents, manage multiple active projects, and lead field personnel
• OSHA 10 card

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical license
