Our client is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to oversee the technical aspects of manufacturing operations at a facility located in Monroe, WI. This prominent company specializes in the production of large-scale agricultural and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising a team of 12 engineers, programmers, and technicians, ensuring the timely completion of projects and providing guidance on design decisions.
  • Setting goals and objectives for the department, aligned with broader engineering objectives.
  • Developing training programs and overseeing efforts for process improvement and continuous enhancement.
  • Reviewing new designs, recommending modifications to optimize cost, quality, safety, and compliance with production capabilities.
  • Providing technical support for design and manufacturing issues.
  • Evaluating manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, productivity, quality, safety, and feasibility. Collaborating with the Director of Operations to prioritize and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Resolving safety, quality, and production issues promptly and effectively.
  • Overseeing the evaluation, justification, and procurement of manufacturing assets.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Operations on plant layout and participating in construction and expansion projects as necessary.
  • Serving as a liaison between production, design engineering, production and inventory control, and sales to streamline the integration of design and manufacturing processes for optimal efficiency.


  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership, supervision, or management of engineering professionals within a heavy industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in sheet metal manufacturing processes such as cutting, bending, machining, welding, painting, and assembly.
  • Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles.
