A 30-bed rehab hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin is hiring an Afternoon/Evening Pharmacist to join a small, collaborative pharmacy team. This is a temporary position with strong potential to convert to full-time for the right candidate.

Schedule
Temporary, with temp-to-hire potential. Shift is 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with some flexibility on start time. Pharmacy hours are 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Shared weekend, after-hours, and on-call coverage rotates with the Pharmacy Manager.

Compensation
$70.00 per hour.

What You'll Do

The Afternoon/Evening Pharmacist works as part of a small team of 2 pharmacists and 1 technician, providing pharmacy services in a rehab hospital setting. This role uses the WellSky pharmacy information system and Pyxis automation, with Cardinal Health Remote Order Entry supporting after-hours and weekend coverage while the on-call pharmacist serves as backup. The role involves limited IV compounding (no chemotherapy) and does not require 340B experience. This position offers the variety of hospital and rehab pharmacy work with a manageable scope, on a smaller team than a large acute-care setting.

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin State Pharmacist License
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent pharmacy degree
• Experience with hospital or institutional pharmacy operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Immunization certification
• Experience with WellSky pharmacy information system or similar platforms
• Experience with Pyxis or other pharmacy automation systems
• IV compounding experience
