Quality Control Engineer, Manufacturing Audits

Location: Bay Shore, NY
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Pay: $70,000 to $80,000 per year

Own the quality systems, audits, and supplier quality programs that keep a manufacturing operation performing at its best.

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of quality control engineering experience
• Manufacturing environment experience
• Strong knowledge of quality engineering and manufacturing processes
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple quality initiatives at once

What You'll Do

• Lead internal process audits and customer audits
• Support PFMEA and PPAP activities
• Conduct process readiness studies and build process flow diagrams
• Manage supplier quality, supplier approvals, and SCAR processes
• Oversee calibration, gauge studies, and Gage R&R
• Review new contracts for quality requirements and manufacturing readiness
• Review and approve manufacturing methods and develop standards
• Analyze cost-of-quality data to drive improvement
• Maintain quality systems and documentation

Nice-to-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience leading corrective action and nonconformance processes

Compensation and Benefits

• $70,000 to $80,000 per year
