Exciting Quality Assurance Manager Position in Toledo, OH

What You Will Be Responsible For:

• Supervising and ensuring accurate sampling, testing, inspection, and reporting within the two laboratories.
• Ensuring the implementation of safety standards and addressing any analytical or equipment challenges.
• Maintaining and improving the Quality Management System to align with ISO 9001 guidelines.
• Working collaboratively with production teams and customers to meet quality requirements and resolve any issues.
• Supervising, training, and developing a team while effectively addressing any performance or operational concerns.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 3-5+ years of experience managing laboratories in the plastics manufacturing industry, environmental testing, or a similar field.
• A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biology would be preferred.
• Proficiency in ISO 9001 standards, with the additional benefit of having internal auditor certification.
• Strong expertise in statistical analysis, Microsoft Office, and working with instruments such as PET-IV viscometers and gas chromatography analyzers.
• It would be a plus to have certification as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or possess Six Sigma credentials.
• Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
