🚨 Must-Haves:

• Chief Stationary Engineer License – Required

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Certifications or education in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems

• Strong hands-on ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems

• Physically able to lift 100+ lbs and work in tight or low-light spaces

• Excellent troubleshooting and time management skills

• COVID-19 vaccination (or willingness to obtain)

About the Role:

We’re seeking a highly skilled and licensed Chief Stationary Engineer to lead all aspects of plant maintenance for a 24/7 manufacturing operation in Buffalo, NY. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for keeping critical systems running at full capacity.

You’ll be the go-to problem solver for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues—ensuring uptime, safety, and compliance while working closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and perform scheduled and emergency maintenance to ensure smooth plant operations

• Manage and execute preventative maintenance plans across facility equipment

• Collaborate daily with supervisors and teams to prioritize urgent tasks and repair timelines

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Maintain a safe, organized workspace aligned with OSHA and company standards

• Keep plant leadership informed with daily progress updates

• Support plant performance goals through proactive equipment care and efficiency improvements

• Be ready to pitch in wherever needed—we’re a team-first culture
