As an Ultrasound Technologist at CompURay Medical, you'll have the opportunity to work day shifts (8, 10, 12 hours) from Monday to Friday. Orientation and training will be provided.
Summary of Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret scanning instructions from physicians
- Administer contrast material
- Prepare and operate Ultrasound equipment (training will be provided)
- Ability to position patients to capture appropriate images
- Experience in Vascular and OB/GYN imaging
- Send images to Radiologist for interpretation and reading
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines
Education:
- Completion of a two-year program at an approved School of Ultrasound Technology
License/Certifications:
- ARDMS certification is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from either the American Red Cross or American Heart Association is required
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist is required
