Location: Los Angeles, CA
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, In-Person (Outpatient Only)

This outpatient healthcare organization operates multiple clinics across the greater Los Angeles area, providing specialty care to patients managing metabolic, thyroid, and endocrine disorders. The organization serves a broad range of communities, including medically underserved populations, and integrates primary care physicians, specialists, advanced practice providers, behavioral health clinicians, and case managers into a coordinated care model.

Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Outpatient only, no hospital call.

Compensation
$155 Per Hour

What You'll Do
The Endocrinologist will provide diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services to adult patients with endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal disorders. This includes designing and monitoring diabetes management plans, including the use of continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pump therapy where clinically appropriate. The physician will serve as a specialty consultant to the primary care team, ensuring coordinated care across disciplines, and will maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The role also involves participating in quality improvement initiatives and diabetes education programs, as well as educating patients and their families on treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
  • Completed or completing fellowship training in Endocrinology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Endocrinology
  • Active, unrestricted California medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain)
  • Valid DEA registration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing patients using CGM and insulin pump technology
  • Experience providing care in a multidisciplinary or integrated care setting
  • Experience working with culturally diverse or underserved patient populations
