Program Manager – Optical Fiber Manufacturing

Must-Haves

• B.S. degree in a technical field
• 5-15 years of program management experience across the full product life cycle within a phase-gate development process
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-location scale-ups and complex technology transfers
• PMP Certification preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project strongly preferred
• Prior experience with optical fiber or cabling technology
• Experience working under ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 quality systems

What You’ll Do

• Plan and lead new product development, process improvement, and cost reduction programs from concept through execution
• Manage scope, risk, schedule, cost, and technical performance across cross-functional teams
• Prioritize staffing and capital resources, and act as program champion in communicating progress to leadership
• Partner with procurement and engineering to build program supply chains and manage supplier delivery commitments
• Support sales and marketing in customer education and new product positioning
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and institutionalizing best practices
• Navigate difficult conversations around resourcing conflicts or program viability with confidence
