Purchasing Agent, Manufacturing SAP Procurement

Location: Omaha, NE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000 to $85,000 per year, plus bonus

Keep manufacturing on schedule by sourcing the materials, parts, and outside services that production depends on.

Must-Haves

• 2 to 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ERP systems

What You’ll Do

• Create and manage purchase orders and procurement records in SAP
• Buy raw materials, components, equipment, tools, supplies, and outside services
• Monitor delivery schedules and expedite critical orders
• Track supplier performance and resolve quality and delivery issues
• Manage outside processors such as zinc platers, galvanizers, and calibration services
• Maintain PIRs, purchasing data, and stocking levels
• Approve invoice pricing and quantities
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, MRP, and Sourcing
• Escalate supply issues to the right teams

Nice-to-Haves

• SAP experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience buying for a manufacturing operation

Compensation and Benefits

• $70,000 to $85,000 per year
