Senior Electrical Engineer PE, Commercial MEP Design

Location: Houston, TX (hybrid, relocation provided)
Job Type: Full-time, direct hire
Pay: $140,000 to $160,000 per year

Be the technical authority on complex commercial building systems at a national engineering and architecture firm, with full relocation to Houston.

Must-Haves

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 10+ years of electrical engineering design and project management on commercial MEP and fire protection systems
• Proven record leading large or complex engineering projects

What You’ll Do

• Lead electrical design, calculations, drawings and specifications for complex commercial projects
• Integrate electrical systems with mechanical, structural, civil and environmental disciplines
• Run QC reviews at key milestones and ensure code and regulatory compliance
• Support construction with site visits and submittal reviews
• Manage project schedules, resources and budgets
• Mentor junior engineers and work directly with clients

Nice-to-Haves

• Fire protection or fire alarm system design experience
• Multidisciplinary A/E firm experience
• Master’s in Electrical Engineering

Compensation and Benefits

• $140,000 to $160,000 base salary
