MIM Operations Manager, Metal Injection Molding Production
Location: Rockford, IL
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $145,000 to $165,000 per year, plus 20% bonus
Lead a new metal injection molding growth area as both its operations leader and top technical expert.
Must-Haves
- Strong expertise in MIM processing, including feedstock, molding, debinding, and sintering
- Experience leading technical personnel
- Understanding of metallurgical and materials principles
- Technical degree or related experience
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day MIM production operations
- Serve as the organization’s technical leader for MIM processes
- Ensure production meets quality, delivery, and cost targets
- Lead a team of technical experts, including a Senior Process Engineer
- Partner with the Metallurgist and customers on successful project execution
- Build the team and capabilities needed for future growth
- Report to the Director of Engineering
Nice-to-Haves
- Engineering degree in Materials, Metallurgical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Powder metallurgy experience
- Experience launching or scaling a new production capability
Compensation and Benefits
- $145,000 to $165,000 per year
