Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic, Hydraulic Systems

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.57 to $35.70 per hour

Keep plant equipment running safely and efficiently with hands-on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.

Must-Haves

• 2 to 3 years of related maintenance experience or equivalent training
• One-year certificate from a college or technical school
• Knowledge of mechanical systems combined with electrical and electronic circuits
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Ability to pass the Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb stairs

What You’ll Do

• Maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Handle precision alignment, welding, and equipment repairs
• Complete motor replacements and wiring repairs
• Plan and perform lubrication and operational maintenance
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and work only on de-energized equipment
• Support developmental projects and maintain records and reports
• Travel occasionally for training

Nice-to-Haves

• Multicraft maintenance experience
• Welding experience
• Predictive maintenance tools such as vibration analysis or thermography

Compensation and Benefits

• $31.57 to $35.70 per hour
