Production Control and Materials Supervisor, Automotive

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000 to $80,000 per year

Help launch a brand-new manufacturing facility, building the scheduling, materials, and inventory processes from day one.

Must-Haves

• Strong understanding of production scheduling, MRP, and inventory control
• Hands-on ERP/MRP system experience
• Proficiency in Excel, production reporting, and inventory tracking
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across departments

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, materials, and capacity
• Monitor output and communicate schedule adjustments
• Track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse on shortages and supplier delays
• Oversee inventory transactions and cycle counts
• Maintain production orders and inventory records in SAP or similar systems
• Resolve discrepancies between system and physical inventory
• Supervise, train, and support production control and materials staff
• Help build SOPs, inventory controls, and planning processes for the new plant
• Monitor customer shipping schedules to protect on-time delivery

Nice-to-Haves

• 3 to 5 years in production control, material planning, or inventory management
• Supervisory experience in manufacturing
• SAP and MES experience
• New plant launch or process improvement experience
• Automotive supplier experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Operations Management

Compensation and Benefits

• $65,000 to $80,000 per year
• Ground-floor role in a new facility
