Senior Field Service Technician - NETA Electrical Testing

Location: Orlando, FL (50 to 75% travel across Florida and the Southeast, relocation available)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40 to $70 per hour, plus overtime and per diem

Test and commission the switchgear, breakers and transformers that keep industrial, commercial and utility power running, with a company truck and test equipment provided.

Must-Haves

• NETA Level II, III or IV certification
• 2 to 5+ years of electrical field testing experience, depending on level
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and OSHA safety practices
• Willing to travel 50 to 75%, including overnights out of town
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

What You’ll Do

• Test, inspect and troubleshoot low, medium and high voltage switchgear, breakers, transformers and cable
• Perform NETA acceptance and maintenance testing and write clear test reports
• Handle start-ups and commissioning on new installs
• Respond to outages and emergency calls
• Lead and mentor junior techs on site (Level III and IV)

Nice-to-Haves

• NETA Level III or IV
• Medium and high voltage testing experience
• Commissioning and start-up experience
