We're hiring a hands-on Director of Manufacturing Engineering to lead CNC process development and drive automation and digital manufacturing.
Must-Haves
- Manufacturing engineering leadership in a CNC machining environment
- Methodizing new work and developing manufacturing processes
- CNC programming, tooling, workholding, and fixture design
- GD&T and complex drawing interpretation
- CNC connectivity, automation, or AI implementation experience
- Track record leading engineering teams
What You'll Do
- Lead manufacturing engineering for CNC operations
- Troubleshoot machining issues directly on the shop floor
- Design tooling and fixtures and support new product introduction
- Digitize CNC operations: machine connectivity, data collection, digital work instructions
- Develop the engineering team and improve cycle time, scrap, and delivery
Nice-to-Haves
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing
- Bachelor's in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
- Lean and root cause analysis
Compensation and Benefits
