Bitcoin Mining Facility Manager, ASIC Operations

Pay: $65,000 to $120,000 per year, plus bonus

Run a bitcoin mining facility end to end, leading the team that keeps thousands of ASIC miners hashing at peak uptime.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years in technical operations, with 1 to 2 years as a supervisor or lead
• Team leadership experience in a data center, bitcoin mining, industrial or other high-uptime facility
• Familiarity with ASIC miners and mining software such as Foreman or LuxOS
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, networking and cooling (air, liquid or immersion)
• Electrical experience or certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to handle physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Do

• Lead, schedule and train a team of site technicians to keep the facility at maximum uptime
• Oversee ASIC miner monitoring, maintenance, diagnostics and repair, including PSUs, fans, hash boards and control boards
• Build and enforce preventive maintenance plans, from filter changes to miner cleaning
• Manage miner configuration, firmware and performance in Foreman and LuxOS to maximize hash rate
• Resolve escalated hardware and software issues the team can’t solve on its own
• Keep electrical, cooling and networking systems running and monitor temperature, humidity and dust
• Enforce OSHA, PPE and electrical safety standards and lead regular safety walkthroughs
• Serve as the on-site contact for inspections, audits and regulatory compliance
• Maintain operational logs, incident reports and performance records

Nice-to-Haves

• Electrician license or high-voltage experience
• Immersion or liquid cooling experience
• CompTIA A+ or HVAC certification
• Associate’s or bachelor’s in electrical engineering, computer science or mechanical engineering

Compensation and Benefits

• $65,000 to $120,000 base, based on experience
• Bonus opportunity
