CNC Setup Operator, Machining Centers and Lathes

Pay: $25 to $32 per hour, plus overtime opportunities

Must-Haves

• Experience setting up and operating CNC machining centers and/or lathes
• Ability to read blueprints, setup sheets, job travelers, and work instructions
• Experience selecting, installing, and adjusting tooling
• Skilled with precision measuring and inspection tools
• Ability to adjust feeds, speeds, and machine offsets

What You'll Do

• Set up and run CNC machining centers and lathes
• Produce and inspect first pieces, then monitor quality throughout the run
• Select and adjust tooling to hit tolerances consistently
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues
• Make program edits based on your experience level
• Build your skills and take on greater technical responsibility as the operation grows

Nice-to-Haves

• CNC programming experience
• Experience with a variety of controls, materials, and tight tolerances

Compensation and Benefits

• $25 to $32 per hour, based on experience
