Field Service Engineer, Clinical Laboratory Instruments

Location: Rock Island, IL (Quad Cities territory; local candidates only)
Job Type: Full-time
Travel: Includes some overnight travel
Pay: $65,000 to $85,000 base, plus overtime and bonus (typically $4,000 to $8,000+ more)

Service the automated analyzers hospitals and labs depend on, with a company vehicle and fully paid family medical.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years as a field service engineer
• Strong electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Certificate or AAS degree in electronics or a related field
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed
• Must live in the greater Rock Island / Quad Cities area (no relocation)
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, per client requirement

What You’ll Do

• Install, repair, and maintain hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers
• Diagnose issues on automated robotic lab instruments
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
• Build lasting relationships with lab and hospital customers
• Work with the Field Support Group on complex problems
• Keep your company vehicle stocked with tools and parts
• Train customers on instrument operation

Nice-to-Haves

• Medical device field service experience
• Clinical lab analyzer experience
