Finance Manager (Healthcare)

Our client, a well-established healthcare organization, is looking for a dedicated Finance Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for delivering critical financial analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and contributing to the organization’s strategic planning. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with a proactive approach to improving financial processes and providing valuable insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to monitor and analyze financial performance.

• Support the Finance team with all aspects of the month-end close and reporting processes.

• Analyze financial results and deliver detailed explanations of variances against budget, forecast, and prior year performance.

• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the finance function.

• Assist in preparing the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and conducting variance analyses.

• Provide financial insights and support to business leadership, Internal Audit, and external auditors as needed.

• Ensure implementation and maintenance of key internal controls in alignment with company policies.

• Prepare both internal and external financial reports.

• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).

• Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial practices.

• MBA and/or CPA designation (preferred).

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.

• Advanced to expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Proven experience in financial modeling and analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

• Experience working within the healthcare industry is a plus (optional to include if applicable).
