Industrial Engineer, Lean Manufacturing

Pay: $75,000 to $90,000 per year

Lead the lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts at your plant, and build the team that keeps product moving.

Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (required)
• 5+ years of industrial engineering experience
• Hands-on lean manufacturing experience: 5S, standard work, value stream mapping, Kaizen
• Proven track record of improving throughput and reducing WIP
• Data collection, root cause analysis and practical problem solving
• Strong presentation and communication skills

What You’ll Do

• Find and remove bottlenecks that slow product flow and drive down WIP
• Lead lean activities across the site, including 5S, visual management, pace to takt, VSM, Kaizen and 8D
• Standardize and optimize manufacturing processes, sequences, layouts and flow
• Manage and develop IE operators and technicians
• Coach leads, supervisors and managers to build a continuous improvement culture
• Own equipment capital projects from design and vendor selection through install
• Design equipment layouts and workflow for maximum utilization and safety
• Build capacity models, production planning tools and time standards
• Partner with the Operations Manager and site leadership on a CI roadmap
• Track CI projects in manufacturing and office, and deliver on savings goals

Compensation and Benefits

• $75,000 to $90,000 base salary
• Full-time, on-site role
