Manufacturing Operations Manager (Job Opportunity)

We are collaborating with a Global Printing and Packaging Company to find a qualified candidate for the role of Manufacturing Operations Manager in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

Qualifications:

· At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing (minimum 3 years in a supervisory role).

· Proficiency in 5S/Continuous Improvement (Lean) methodologies.

· Hands-on experience with machinery/automation and computer-based software, including financial reporting, attendance tracking, inventory control, and Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel.

· Self-motivated, able to work independently with a sense of urgency, excellent multi-tasking skills, strong organization, and attention to detail.

·Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.

·Experience with process improvement programs is preferred.

·Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and lead/support manufacturing projects.

·Prior experience in printing/packaging industry is preferred.

Job Description:

·Achieve company goals in safety, quality, and productivity by implementing Continuous Improvement principles and effectively leading a team of hourly personnel within the production operation.

·The individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills and adhere to plant guidelines and procedures to ensure the overall success of the shift and operation.

Primary Responsibilities:

·Lead and manage up to 100 employees, assigning job duties within different areas of the operation and overseeing major plant equipment assets.

·Serve as a coach/mentor, providing feedback, constructive criticism, and managing the performance of personnel.

·Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following company and customer policies and procedures.

·Promote a culture of safety and quality, actively participating in Continuous Improvement programs and initiatives.

·Effectively communicate job expectations and ensure adherence to established standards, processes, practices, and procedures.

·Achieve production plan and targets by scheduling and assigning personnel, resolving issues related to safety, quality, productivity, maintenance, and personnel as they arise.

·Understand, communicate, and execute production priorities. Ensure accurate reporting of shift production summaries.

·Experience in automating equipment and processes.

Education:

·Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field is required.

·Must be a US Citizen
