- Our team of Occupational Therapists is responsible for providing comprehensive and high-quality therapy services, focused on ensuring the overall health and well-being of our residents.
- Valid Occupational Therapy license specific to the state is a requirement.

Initiate and administer skilled occupational therapy treatments as directed by physicians; maintaining regular communication.

Create written evaluations, progress notes, MDS records, and discharge summaries for residents participating in the occupational therapy program.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address specific needs and enhance rehabilitation or maintenance of function for residents.

Participate in Resident Care Planning meetings, providing valuable input and supporting the Director of Occupational Therapy in their absence.

Maintain accurate statistical records of residents' treatments.

Assist in conducting in-service training programs upon request.

Ensure resident care plans are recorded, updated, and adhered to.
Qualifications -

Completion of an approved occupational therapy program is mandatory.

Valid state license to practice occupational therapy is required.

Previous experience of two years in the field of occupational therapy is desirable.

Interest in providing occupational therapy treatments for the geriatric and subacute populations by working collaboratively in a team.

Ability to supervise and provide guidance to others is essential.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial.

Maturity, diplomacy, and the ability to work harmoniously with colleagues are important qualities.

Strong sense of responsibility and the capability to interact effectively with residents, families, and fellow staff members are required.

Ability to work in a friendly and supportive manner with geriatric and chronically ill residents, as well as other healthcare professionals.

Demonstrated ability to consistently perform assigned tasks to the highest standards of excellence.
