Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Waterloo, IA

Salary: $75-95K with bonus potential

Job Summary for Quality Assurance Engineer: As a member of the QA & Continuous Improvement team, the Quality Assurance Engineer will play a crucial role in implementing Quality processes, including ISO-9001. We are seeking a subject matter expert who can provide guidance and support to Quality leadership on quality assurance-related matters.

Qualifications for Quality Assurance Engineer:

• Strong knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and Manufacturing processes
• Contribute to the development of Quality process strategy and identify areas for improvement
• Evaluate industry requirements and internal Quality Management Systems (QMS) to develop effective procedures and instructions
• Support Quality teams and senior leadership in resolving quality issues and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead and facilitate projects identified through the High-Performance Team Board process
• Drive the installation and implementation of ISO-9001 quality management systems

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Previous experience in Manufacturing Engineering
• Expertise in ISO-9000 and conducting internal audits
• Knowledge of CORE, Lean, or Six-Sigma methodologies is a plus
• Collaborate with manufacturing, product, and customer teams to implement process improvements
• Provide input and influence the development, application, and maintenance of quality control systems and protocols
• Visualize and communicate process flows to stakeholders and teams
• Build relationships with leaders and employees at all levels to drive cultural change
• Demonstrate proactive project management skills and mitigate risks
• Design and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs and add value
• Lead and guide others in achieving operational results with minimal oversight
• 25-50% travel required
