Senior Accountant, QuickBooks Online

Location: Burlington, KY
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Hybrid, remote 4 days per week, in office about 1 day per week
Pay: $85,000 to $105,000 per year

Build the accounting systems that will power a fast-growing company's next wave of acquisitions, as a Senior Accountant with a mostly remote schedule.

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop and QuickBooks Online
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and automated bookkeeping tools
• Proven experience with vendor and customer onboarding and maintenance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What You'll Do

• Lead the month-end close in 5 days, delivering variance analyses and clear calls to action
• Drive the transition from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online without disrupting operations
• Design and implement financial reporting systems to support future acquisitions
• Partner with senior leaders on financial analysis that guides strategy and growth
• Select and integrate AI tools to streamline accounting and accelerate analytic review
• Reconcile GL accounts and bank statements, and manage accruals and adjustments
• Manage bi-weekly payroll and benefits administration with full tax compliance
• Streamline AP and AR processes, administer sales tax, and produce weekly performance metrics
• Strengthen financial controls and tax compliance through process improvements

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in a rapidly growing manufacturing environment
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Exposure to M&A or acquisition integration

Compensation and Benefits

• $85,000 to $105,000 base salary based on experience
• Remote 4 days per week
• Direct reporting line to the Manager of Finance and Accounting
• High-visibility role supporting both organic and M&A growth
