Production Superintendent, Food Salt Refinery

Schedule: Day shift
Pay: $168,000 to $265,000 per year

Own safety, food quality, and production performance at a salt refinery for one of the world's largest food companies, with a path toward plant management.

Must-Haves

• 4+ years of experience in a food manufacturing setting
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or a food refinery background (salt preferred) in place of a degree
• Strong knowledge of food safety, employee safety, and environmental compliance
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead 2 to 3 supervisors

What You'll Do

• Provide operational oversight for refinery production, quality, safety, and financial results
• Implement EH&S, food safety, quality, and regulatory programs
• Lead production and quality deliverables to meet customer specifications
• Set and deploy plant operational priorities
• Improve efficiency through standardized systems, production reliability, and maintenance best practices
• Manage capital and operating budgets for the plant
• Hold supervisors accountable for production targets and cost control
• Coach and develop your team, including hiring, performance, and disciplinary decisions

Nice-to-Haves
